Portland Condos takes a look at popular city center Portland Oregon condo neighborhoods including the Pearl District, Northwest Nob Hill, Downtown Cultural District and South Waterfront.
Portland Condos shares you tube about Portland city center popular condo neighborhoods. Portland has a wide variety of condos and neighborhoods including The Pearl District, Northwest Nob Hill, Portland Downtown Cultural District, Goose Hollow and South Waterfront.
Each of our Portland city center condo neighborhoods has a different feel to them which is why when I have new clients beginning to look for a condo to purchase it is good to view condos in each neighborhood. The Pearl District some compare to SoHo with parts of this neighborhood has older warehouses converted into condo lofts. There is also newer buildings in the Pearl District some traditional such as Bridgeport condos, some modern such as The Encore and some with a more industrial feel such as Streetcar Lofts. This neighborhood is very urban with great public transportation, parks, boutiques, coffee shops and larger grocery stores such as Whole Foods and Safeway.
West of the Pearl District on the other side of the 405 we have Northwest Nob hill another favorite Portland Oregon condo neighborhood with tree line streets, Victorian homes and turn of the century apartment buildings that were converted to condos a few years ago. Northwest Portland is very urban but more residential than the Pearl District neighborhood. Northwest Portland is home to the famous NW 23rd Avenue which is lined with boutiques, shopping, restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. This Portland condo neighborhood has some older condos that are historic and charming such as The Embassy Condos and the Wickersham condos. Scattered through-out Northwest Nob Hill we have some newer condo buildings such as The Vaux Condos, Westerly Condos, Westover Condos and The Cambridge. This Portland condo neighborhood also offers many townhouses which attached garages. Northwest Nob hill is home to many parks and our large urban park, Forest Park. The Portland Streetcar runs through Northwest Portland so a hop on the trolley will take you Downtown, Pearl District, South Waterfront and to the east side.
Going south we have the Downtown Cultural District which those condo owners are close to the Portland Art Museum and the theaters. This is a very urban neighborhood but also boost several blocks of parks called South Park Blocks which the charming Roosevelt condos are across the street from. Portland Downtown offers many older condo buildings such as The Cornerstone condos and newer condo towers including The Elliot Condominiums and Benson Tower Condos.
A bit more south along the Willamette River Portland has its newest condo neighborhood South Waterfront again very urban but lots of green space and roofs. There are three large Portland condo buildings here The Atwater Condos, Meriwether Condos and John Ross. Many of these Portland condos have fabulous views of the river, downtown Portland and Portland West Hills. In this urban neighborhood is the Portland tram that goes up to OSHU.
